Radharc na Chaoláire

The View of the Narrowing of the Bay

galway_bay_view.jpg

Radharc na Chaoláire’ translates as the view of the narrowing of the bay. It comes from the colloquial use of the Irish language word for ‘narrow’ and has been used by generations of local seafarers to describe that particular part of Galway Bay, which stretches across to the Burren as it rises above sea level.

The development, design and build team for Radharc na Chaoláire are local and have decades of collective experience delivering superior quality homes in excellent locations. This HomeBond-insured development hosts a palette of vernacular materials, from the housing render right through to the roughly coursed stone of the feature wall panels.

Stone walls are one of Connemara’s most distinctive landscape features and the stone cleared from this site has been used to build the boundary walls using the traditional method, relying not on tools and mortar, but on craftsmanship and generations of knowledge handed down.
